Ho Chi Minh City launches first school-based fire safety learning space

Ho Chi Minh City has launched its first fire prevention and rescue learning space within a school setting. Located at Doan Thi Diem Primary School, the model was established through a collaboration between the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force (PC07), the Department of Education and Training, and the Tan Son Nhi Ward People's Committee.

The facility allows students to transition from theoretical learning to practical application. Equipped with essential tools, students practice skills such as wearing protective helmets, using gas masks, operating fire extinguishers, and performing low-profile escapes through simulated smoke. The program also integrates interactive theater and AI technology to make safety education more visual and engaging for the school's 3,000 students.
