Ho Chi Minh City pilots community support for digital public services
Ho Chi Minh City has launched a pilot program to support citizens in accessing online public services directly within their residential areas. In Tan Binh Ward, a support point has been established at community activity centers for Neighborhoods 13 and 14.
To accommodate residents with busy daytime schedules, the support point operates weekly on Thursday evenings from 18:00 to 21:00. Local officials provide hands-on guidance to help residents, including the elderly, navigate digital platforms. Training includes using VNeID electronic identification accounts, accessing the National Public Service Portal, submitting applications, and tracking processing status.
