Ho Chi Minh City police investigate illegal sales for free concert tickets
Ho Chi Minh City police have summoned two individuals for illegally selling tickets to the ‘To quoc trong tim’ concert. Although the political art program is scheduled to take place on August 23 at Van Phuc City and is entirely free for the public, the individuals used personal Facebook accounts to offer tickets priced between 420,000 and 610,000 VND.
Authorities stated that these unauthorized sales and potential scams have impacted public order and the reputation of the organizers, including the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Nhan Dan Newspaper. The two individuals admitted to their actions, acknowledged the misunderstanding caused regarding the city's free event policy, and have voluntarily removed the offending posts. The Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Police are currently finalizing documentation to process the cases according to law.
The concert is a large-scale event expected to connect tens of thousands of spectators, with Bia Saigon serving as a strategic partner for the celebration.
