Ho Chi Minh City prepares ceremony for 731 martyr remains

Authorities in Ho Chi Minh City have conducted a second rehearsal for a ceremony to honor and bury 731 sets of martyr remains discovered and collected in the Le Thi Rieng Cultural Park area.

The event, coordinated by the Ho Chi Minh City Command and Military Region 7, will include a formal procession to the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs Cemetery. The planned procession will feature a motorcade including command vehicles, honor guards, and vehicles carrying the remains, which will be placed in coffins protected by glass and covered with the national flag.

Approximately 1,000 delegates are expected to attend, including representatives from various government agencies, military forces, religious figures, and officials from the U.S. and Australian Consulates General in Ho Chi Minh City.
