Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Fair 2026 sets record with 520 exhibitors

The 20th International Tourism Fair in Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2026) will be held from 27 – 29 August 2026 under the theme “Dynamic Connections – Global Destinations”. More than 520 exhibition units and brands are expected, representing 34 Vietnamese provinces and cities and attracting 260 international buyers from over 40 countries and territories.

Organisers anticipate around 30,000 visitors and plan to facilitate more than 21,000 pre‑arranged B2B meetings between domestic and foreign tourism operators. The fair will also host three Mekong sub‑regional tourism ministerial conferences and a series of forums covering MICE, AI, medical tourism, destination branding and sustainable development, with participation from UN World Tourism Organization, PATA, Google, Mastercard, EuroCham and other international bodies. Pham Huy Binh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Department, highlighted the event’s role in boosting the local economy and expanding Vietnam’s global tourism footprint.
