Hochheim launches 2026 Stadtradeln bike campaign

From 23 May 2026, Hochheim am Main will host the nationwide Stadtradeln event, a three‑week initiative encouraging residents to leave their cars at home and commute by bicycle. The campaign opens with an 11‑kilometre bike parade through the "Flörsheimer Schweiz" nature reserve, beginning at the old malt factory and ending on the Main riverbank. Mayor Dirk Westedt and the local wine queen Pauline I. will attend the kickoff, which also features a prevention council stand at the weekly market.

Participants can register online or by phone, and the event aims to promote lasting sustainable travel habits by tallying kilometres for each team during the period 23 May – 12 June 2026.
