Hochlarmark Lichterfest moves to new location at Zeche Recklinghausen II
The 23rd Hochlarmarker Lichterfest is moving to a new location for its upcoming edition on November 21. Instead of the traditional marketplace on Holzstraße, the event will be held at Karlstraße 75.
The new festival grounds are situated at the hoisting machine house of the former Zeche Recklinghausen II. This change is intended to strengthen the connection between the festival and the local mining history of the Hochlarmark district.
As part of the new program, the Verein für Bergbau- und Industriegeschichte e. V. will offer guided tours of the local museum. The event, organized by the Aktive Stadtteilrunde Hochlarmark in cooperation with various local clubs, will also feature food offerings and a craft and art market.
