Light festivals in Recklinghausen

Overview

Recklinghausen is hosting various light-themed community events. The 23rd Hochlarmarker Lichterfest is relocating to the hoisting machine house of the former Zeche Recklinghausen II to emphasize local mining history. The event will include guided museum tours, a craft and art market, and food offerings.

Additionally, the ‘Recklinghausen leuchtet’ light festival, themed ‘Dreams under the starry sky,’ features a series of twelve free concerts held in a transformed retail space known as the Sparkassen-Clubraum.
