Hockey India Senior Men Championship semi-finalists confirmed

The quarter-final stage of the 6th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship has concluded in Hyderabad, determining the semi-finalists for the tournament.

Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) advanced after a 3-2 victory over the Sports Authority of India, with goals from Gurjot Singh, Manpreet, and Varun Kumar. The Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) secured a 2-0 win against the Central Board of Direct Taxes, featuring goals from Simranjot Singh and Singh Gursahibjit.

In high-scoring matches, the Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAG) defeated Punjab National Bank 4-3. The All India Police Sports Control Board (AIPSCB) progressed following a 2-2 draw in regulation time against the Food Corporation of India, eventually winning 4-3 in a shootout.

The semi-final matchups are set for September 13, featuring PSPB against RSPB and CAG against AIPSCB.
