Hokkaido food festivals held at major Japanese department stores and parks

Multiple Hokkaido-themed food festivals and gourmet exhibitions are taking place across Japan in September 2026.

In Osaka, the Keihan Department Store in Moriguchi is hosting an Autumn Hokkaido Product Fair until September 13. The event features regional delicacies and cultural activities, including a curling talk show and an Ainu culture workshop.

In Tokyo, Tobu Department Store in Ikebukuro is holding the ‘Gourmet Tour Autumn Great Hokkaido Exhibition’ from September 10 to 23. The event offers limited-edition bento boxes featuring seafood and meat, as well as live cooking stations for ramen and burgers.

Additionally, the 36th Hokkaido Fair in Yoyogi Park is scheduled for October 1 to 4. Organized by Kitanippon Advertising, the outdoor event will feature approximately 70 booths showcasing various foods from across Hokkaido.
