Hokkaido-themed events scheduled in Tokyo and Konosu

Various events celebrating Hokkaido are scheduled to take place in late 2026.

In Tokyo, Kushiro City will participate in the Hokkaido Migration and Exchange Fair at the Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan on October 31, 2026. The city's mayor will attend for the first time to discuss housing, employment, and trial living arrangements. Visitors to the Kushiro booth can receive Hokkaido soup sets, and those who complete a survey can receive Shima Enaga themed goods.

Additionally, a Hokkaido Festival will be held at the Elmi Konosu shopping mall in Konosu City from November 12 to November 18, 2026. The event will feature various products from the region, including sweets, delicacies, and seafood.
