Hokuto Matsumura drama ‘Kokuhaku’ approaches climax

The Nippon TV drama ‘Kokuhaku: 25-nenme no Himitsu’ (Confession: The Secret of the 25th Year) is approaching its final episodes. In the upcoming ninth episode, titled ‘All the Doors to the Secrets Have Opened’, the protagonist Sota Yukimura (played by Hokuto Matsumura) reveals the truth behind the actions he has taken over the last 25 years to protect Mariko Nose (played by Sae Okazaki).

As the plot intensifies, secrets regarding the kidnapping cases from 25 years ago and the truth behind the death of Mariko’s biological mother are expected to surface. Promotional materials released via social media have also highlighted the relationship between Sota and his close friend Tomoya Sagara (played by Akihisa Shiono), featuring behind-the-scenes photos of the actors during their university-era scenes.
