Hokuto Matsumura drama ‘Kokuhaku’ reaches episode 6

The sixth episode of the Nippon TV suspense drama ‘Kokuhaku: 25-nenme no Himitsu’, starring Hokuto Matsumura, is scheduled to air on August 15. The episode, titled ‘I Told You I Won’t Forgive You?’, marks a major turning point in the series.

In this installment, the protagonist Sota Yukimura (Matsumura) faces a crisis in his long-standing unrequited love for his superior, Mariko Nose (Sae Okazaki), after she discovers he attended the same middle and high schools as her. Simultaneously, the police investigation into the murder of Tsuyoshi Tatsuikawa intensifies. Detective Taisuke Sakura suspects Sota due to his obsession with Mariko, but new evidence from a detective agency may reveal the true culprit. Sota also begins investigating suspicious circumstances surrounding the accidental death of Mariko’s mother, Kyoko.
