Holaluz shares rise 11% as trading resumes after regulatory dismissal
Holaluz shares rose by more than 11% following the company's return to trading on the BME Growth segment. The resumption follows the dismissal of proceedings by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge regarding the company's authorization to market electricity and the potential transfer of its customers to a reference marketer.
The legal proceedings had been initiated due to disputes over approximately 4.4 million euros in invoices from three suppliers. Holaluz maintained that the issue was a specific discrepancy regarding the enforceability of certain bills and was not indicative of an inability to meet financial obligations. The company stated that the disputed and subsequent invoices have been fully settled.
