Holy Metropolis of Kithaira concludes annual youth camp

The Holy Metropolis of Kithaira, Katerini and Platamon concluded its annual ‘Camp in the City’ program on Monday, August 24. For the seventh consecutive year, approximately 280 children and young people participated in the week-long daily program.

Hosted in the Prosilio Svoronou area at the Metropolis's philanthropic facilities, the event included a Holy Paraklesis service at the Holy Trinity Church of Katerini. Metropolitan George addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of religious education and spiritual foundations established through early involvement in the Church. He also encouraged the youth to participate in upcoming Catechetical Assemblies for the new ecclesiastical year.
