Hombale Films achieves $3.5 million global revenue with ‘Hanuman Ansh’
The Indian devotional film ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has grossed over $3.5 million in international markets following a strategic global distribution campaign by Hombale Films. The film, written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, is based on his book ‘Divine Detour: That Changed My Life’ and depicts the spiritual journey of Lakshman Das, who becomes the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba.
Hombale Films, known for franchises such as ‘K.G.F’ and ‘Kantara’, utilized a strategy of taking ownership of global territories and partnering with major local distributors to maximize its release footprint. This marks the company’s first instance of distributing a project outside of its own productions.
North America has been the strongest overseas market, contributing $1.8 million. Other significant revenue contributors include Australia and New Zealand with approximately $606,716, the Gulf Cooperation Council region with $577,870, and the United Kingdom with $269,837.
