Hon Hai expands AI server capacity and electric vehicle lineup

During the 2026 Hon Hai Technology Day, Chairman Young Liu announced that the company has doubled its weekly production capacity for AI server racks, increasing from 1,000 to 2,000 units within a single year. The event highlighted Hon Hai’s vertical integration capabilities, showcasing modular data center solutions based on NVIDIA DSX POD designs that can reduce AI deployment times from six months to as little as 14 days.

In the electric vehicle sector, Hon Hai unveiled several concept models, including the MODEL A+ and MODEL K+ SUVs, as well as the MODEL K small truck. The company is expanding its electric vehicle ecosystem to include the Japanese K-Car segment and demonstrated its CDMS (Contract Design and Manufacturing Service) capabilities with right-hand drive models. The group’s automotive strategy covers everything from materials and battery cells to battery management systems and electrical architectures.

Beyond AI and automotive, Hon Hai continues to position itself as a technology manufacturing platform service provider, diversifying into cloud servers, robotics, semiconductors, and digital health.
