Honda City leads Vietnam B-segment sedan sales in July 2026

The Honda City emerged as the best-selling B-segment sedan in Vietnam for July 2026, recording 1,034 units sold. This marks the second consecutive month that the model has led this specific segment, representing a 12% increase in sales compared to the previous month.

Despite the monthly lead, the Toyota Vios maintains a higher cumulative sales volume for the year. The Vios recorded 968 units in July, a 122% increase from June, bringing its seven-month total to 5,517 units, compared to the Honda City’s 4,556 units.

Other notable performers in the segment include the Mazda 2, which sold 560 units in July (3,152 year-to-date), and the Hyundai Accent, which recorded 204 units (2,290 year-to-date). The Mitsubishi Attrage and Suzuki Swift saw the lowest sales in the category with 97 and 42 units, respectively.

To drive competition in August 2026, manufacturers are offering significant incentives, including 100% registration fee support for models like the Toyota Vios and Honda City.
