Honda CRF300L set for 2026 India launch as market sees wave of new adventure bikes

Honda is preparing to bring the CRF300L dual‑sport motorcycle to India in the second half of 2026. The 286 cc liquid‑cooled model, equipped with a six‑speed gearbox, Showa suspension, LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster, is expected to be priced between ₹4.5 lakh and ₹4.8 lakh.

Around the same time, several other manufacturers are readying adventure‑bike offerings for the Indian market: TVS‑owned Norton will begin series production of the Atlas at its Hosur plant, featuring a 585 cc twin‑cylinder engine and 69 bhp output; Royal Enfield plans to unveil the Himalayan 750, a 750 cc parallel‑twin prototype, at EICMA 2026; Bajaj Auto is testing an entry‑level Adventure 250 that will use a 249 cc single‑cylinder engine and target a 2027 launch; and Hero Motorcycles has shown the Xpulse 421 in Ladakh, built on a steel trellis frame with USD front forks and dual‑purpose tyres.
