Honda launches high‑spec UC3 electric scooter in Vietnam

Honda Vietnam began selling its premium electric scooter, the UC3, on 26 June. The model offers a 6 kW motor, a top speed of 82 km/h, up to 120 km per charge, and features such as regenerative braking, CBS, three riding modes, a 5‑inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and CHAdeMO‑compatible fast charging that reaches 80 % in about two hours.

The scooter is offered in two versions and three colours through 83 electric‑vehicle retail outlets in 20 provinces, priced according to a suggested retail price. Customers buying at launch receive a 22 million‑dong voucher and can access a 0.55 % per month financing plan. Early buyers also get a one‑year free ZuttoRide rescue‑service card. Honda is simultaneously rolling out a network of CHAdeMO‑standard charging stations, beginning in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with usage fees of 7 020 dong per charge point.

The launch aligns with Honda’s broader strategy to develop a full electric‑mobility ecosystem in Vietnam, supporting the government’s green‑transport goals.
