Honda launches new CB500, CB350, and QC3 electric scooter
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced a major product expansion under its ‘Multi-Pathway’ strategy, introducing several new models to the market. The rollout includes the Honda QC3, a family-oriented electric scooter featuring a 3.0 kWh battery with a 145 km range and 32 liters of under-seat storage.
In the motorcycle segment, Honda launched the CB500, a retro-style roadster powered by a 501 cc single-cylinder engine designed for low-to-mid-range torque. In India, the CB500 is available in three variants, with prices ranging from ₹2,75,000 to ₹3,01,900. Additionally, the company refreshed its popular CB350 neo-retro lineup, including the CB350, CB350RS, and CB350C, which feature updated color schemes and styling while retaining the existing 348.6 cc engine.
Globally, the CB500 has seen significant movement; a version produced by the Wuyang-Honda joint venture has arrived in Vietnam, and the CB400 Super Four has seen strong initial order volumes in its home market. The company’s strategy aims to address diverse mobility needs across electric and internal combustion segments.
