Honda cuts Vietnam motorcycle prices while recalling 800,000 US vehicles
In Vietnam, Honda's June 2026 motorcycle listings showed stable price ranges compared with the previous month, but dealers offered significant discounts that brought many models below the manufacturer’s suggested retail price by several million dong. Models such as the Wave Alpha 110 cc (standard version VND 17.86 million) and the Vision scooter (starting at VND 31.11 million) were promoted with vouchers, low‑interest financing (as low as 0.55 % APR) and other incentives for purchases between 1 June and 31 July.
Separately, Honda announced a recall of more than 800,000 vehicles in the United States due to a potential rear‑subframe corrosion issue that could cause loss of control. The recall affects 880,514 cars, including Honda Pilot models from 2016‑2022, Ridgeline trucks from 2017‑2023, Passport SUVs from 2019‑2023 and Acura MDX models from 2014‑2020 across numerous states. No injuries or deaths have been reported. Dealers will inspect the rear subframe and replace or reinforce it at no cost to owners.
