Honda Prelude 2027 Limited Edition released

Honda has released the “2027 Limited Edition” of the Prelude, a special version of the model that returned to the market in September 2025. This edition features a unique “Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic” exterior color and a coordinated Bordeaux and black interior, including seats and door trims.

The vehicle is priced at 6,306,300 yen and is expected to be available for a limited time through the end of 2026. Key exterior enhancements include red accents on the front and rear bumpers, red brake calipers, and machined black clear aluminum wheels.

Mechanically, the Prelude utilizes a 2.0-liter direct-injection Atkinson cycle engine paired with a dual-motor e:HEV hybrid system. It features the “Honda S+ Shift” technology, which simulates the rhythmic sensation of multi-speed gear shifts when in Sport mode. The chassis includes an electronically controlled suspension inspired by the Civic Type R, allowing for a smooth “Comfort” mode and a more rigid, performance-oriented driving experience in other modes.
