Honda reports August 2026 vehicle sales in Japan

Honda reported its new vehicle sales figures for August 2026 in Japan. The N-BOX remained the top-selling model with 13,917 units sold, despite a year-on-year decrease to 93.2% of the previous year's volume.

Other high-performing models included the Vezel hybrid with 3,520 units and the Freed hybrid with 2,961 units. Several models saw significant year-on-year growth, most notably the Prelude, which saw a 3,150% increase compared to the same month last year, followed by the Vezel at 183.2% and the Civic Type R at 160.6%.

In terms of monthly performance, the ZR-V showed a substantial increase of 225% compared to the previous month, while the Accord rose by 160.9%.
