Honda rolls out UC3 and CUV e electric scooters in Vietnam at reduced prices

Honda announced the launch of two electric two‑wheel models for the Vietnamese market. The UC3 scooter, initially priced around 80 million VND, will be offered with promotional discounts that bring the standard version to about 56.5 million VND and the special version to roughly 57.9 million VND. The CUV e model is available in two packages: a fully equipped version with two batteries and chargers for 65 million VND, and a lower‑cost version without batteries for 45 million VND, with battery rental at 250,000 VND per month.

Honda is also rolling out a battery‑swap system and charging infrastructure. A battery‑swap station began operating in Hanoi on 4 June, charging 350,000 VND per month with unlimited swaps. Dedicated charging stations for the UC3 are slated to start in July in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces, with charging sessions costing about 7,020 VND. The UC3 can travel about 120 km per charge, with a 4‑hour full charge time using a 1,200 W charger. Honda plans to expand its electric two‑wheel lineup through 2027‑2028.
