Honda slashes price of ICON e electric scooter to roughly 15 million VND in Vietnam

Honda has dramatically lowered the price of its urban electric scooter, the ICON e, in Vietnam. After two earlier strong promotions, the scooter’s price fell from over 29 million VND to around 15 million VND, making it more accessible to students and urban commuters.

The latest discount brings the three variants to VND 15.52 million (Premium), VND 15.71 million (Special) and VND 15.90 million (Sport). These figures exclude the battery, which can be leased for VND 245,455 per month, purchased outright for VND 8.836 million, or bought separately for VND 12.21 million. The aggressive pricing is intended to strengthen Honda’s position in the small‑electric‑vehicle segment in the Vietnamese market.
