Honda and Mitsubishi to develop new pickup truck for ASEAN markets

Honda and Mitsubishi Motors have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop a new pickup truck based on the Mitsubishi Triton. The collaboration aims to target the ASEAN market, with sales expected to begin in 2028.

This project marks the first instance of product mutual supplementation between the two companies. While specific design details remain unconfirmed, the vehicle is expected to leverage the existing Triton platform to enter the regional pickup segment.
