Honda to launch Prelude Limited Edition in Europe

Honda has announced that the Prelude Limited Edition will be available in European markets starting in the autumn of 2026, as a model for the 2027 lineup. This decision follows the positive reception of the special edition in Japan.

The Limited Edition features several aesthetic and performance-oriented distinctions from the standard model. Most notable is the exclusive ‘Radiant Crystal Garnet’ (or Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic) dark red paint, which is also applied to horizontal details in the front grille. The exterior is further enhanced by red accents on the front and rear bumpers, 19-inch black alloy wheels, and red Brembo brake calipers.

Inside, the cabin utilizes a black and Bordeaux color scheme with silver decorative elements and red contrast stitching on the steering wheel, center console, dashboard, and seats. The ‘Prelude’ name is embroidered on the dashboard.

While no power upgrades were announced for this edition, the new generation Prelude utilizes a hybrid powertrain and incorporates driving features inspired by the Civic Type R, such as adaptive dampers and a wider track. It also features the ‘Honda S+ Shift’ technology, which simulates gear shifts in the 8-speed automatic transmission to enhance the driving experience.
