Honda unveils 2027 CB750 Hornet with E-Clutch technology

Honda has introduced the 2027 upgrade for its CB750 Hornet naked-bike, featuring a new electronic E-Clutch system. The updated model moves away from traditional four-cylinder engines in favor of a 755cc parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft, a platform shared with the ADV XL750. This engine configuration is designed to mimic V-Twin torque characteristics, providing high torque at low to mid-range RPMs, producing a maximum power of 51 kW and 69 Nm of torque.

While previous versions in Asian markets like Malaysia and Thailand were imported from Japan, observers suggest the model may undergo localization through assembly lines in China next year. If production occurs at the Sundiro Honda factory, the expected factory price could drop to approximately 50,000 yuan (roughly 193.5 million VND), significantly lower than current import prices. This potential price reduction is expected to increase competitive pressure on rivals such as the Yamaha MT-07.
