Honda unveils CBR400R FOUR E‑Clutch sport bike at Tokyo Motorcycle Show

At the Tokyo Motorcycle Show, Honda introduced the CBR400R FOUR E‑Clutch, a new fully‑faired sport motorcycle built around a 399 cc liquid‑cooled inline‑four engine. The model features Honda’s proprietary E‑Clutch system, which eliminates the need for manual clutch operation, and includes high‑spec components such as KYB inverted forks, Nissin brakes, a TFT instrument panel and USB charging. Honda positions the bike as a versatile machine for both city riding and winding roads, emphasizing a blend of performance and everyday practicality.

The launch also highlighted the legacy of the CB400 SUPER FOUR, a long‑running 400 cc four‑cylinder model that has been in production since 2008 with fuel‑injection technology and remains popular in the Japanese market. The CBR400R FOUR marks Honda’s return to a new four‑cylinder sport bike after a decade‑long hiatus.
