Honda Vietnam slashes gasoline bike prices as it readies electric UC3 launch

Honda's Vietnamese dealers are offering substantial discounts on most of the company's gasoline‑powered motorcycles in May 2026. Prices for popular models such as the Wave Alpha, Blade, Vision and SH series have been reduced by up to several million dong, with some listings posted below the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. The only model not seeing a cut is the Super Cub C125, which remains pricier due to limited supply.

The company is also preparing to introduce its first electric two‑wheeler for the ASEAN market, the UC3, slated for official sales at the end of June. Early‑bird buyers can secure the bike for roughly 60 million dong after a 20 million‑dong incentive, versus an original price near 80 million dong. The UC3 features a fixed 3.174 kWh LFP battery under the floor, a 120 km range (WMTC), CHAdeMO fast‑charging (0‑80 % in about 2 hours), a 6 kW rear‑motor, top speed around 80 km/h, and a 5‑inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. Initial units will be imported fully built from Thailand, with local assembly planned for later in 2026.
