Honduran Deputy Hugo Noé Pino Vows to Cooperate with Prosecutors Over Ex‑Commission Probe

Deputy Hugo Noé Pino of Honduras' Libertad y Refundación party said he is prepared to appear before the Ministry of Public (MP) as investigations continue into the former permanent congressional commission. He noted that all former commission members have already presented themselves to the MP and have filed requests to obtain the case file before giving formal statements.

Pino said his group is awaiting the MP’s response to those requests and will submit their testimonies once the prosecutor’s office provides the necessary procedural guidance. He emphasized that the commission acted in accordance with the Honduran Constitution and existing laws, asserting that the members have no concerns about the legal process.
