Honduran Election Survey Manipulation via Fake DatoWorld Clone Exposed

The international data platform DatoWorld reported that a completely forged copy of its website and associated social‑media accounts was created to publish fabricated election polls favoring the ruling Libertad y Refundación party in Honduras. The counterfeit site pushed surveys that boosted the official candidate Rixi Moncada, who secured about 19% of the vote in the 2025 general election. DatoWorld announced the operation on X, warning that such digital identity theft is used to mislead voters and that historically these deceptive networks tend to back the losing side in elections.
