Honduras and Guatemala announce upcoming international football schedules

Honduras is preparing to participate in the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival, scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan from October 22 to 31, 2026. The Honduras Football Federation (FFH) will select players through its Talent Development Scheme (TDS), utilizing 11 technical training centers across the country. The tournament will feature an 8-a-side football format on smaller pitches to encourage dynamic play and rapid decision-making.

In Guatemala, the National Football Federation (FFG) has released the schedule for the senior national team's participation in the 2026 CONCACAF Nations League A group stage. Managed by Luis Fernando Tena, the team will play four matches between September and October. The schedule includes an away match against Jamaica on September 25, a home game against El Salvador on September 28, and a two-legged series against Suriname on October 2 and October 5.
