Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2026 focuses on AI
The Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival 2026 opened on August 21 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring AI as its central theme. The event aims to promote the adoption of artificial intelligence among citizens and small businesses through the theme ‘AI Connect: Let’s link the Future!’.
To stimulate physical retail, organizers have introduced 3 million HKD in cash vouchers and a program allowing users to trade in old devices for vouchers. Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po attended the opening, emphasizing the importance of utilizing AI to enhance personal and professional competitiveness. While some attendees noted rising hardware prices, others found value in bundled accessories offered at the event.
Anker showcased several new smart hardware products at the festival, including the soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max AI-powered noise-canceling headphones, which feature the ANKER Thus™ AI chip. Other featured products include the Boom Go 3i portable Bluetooth speaker and high-capacity power banks, such as the 26K 300W Prime model.
