Hong Seung Hee to star in upcoming romance drama ‘Oh My Guard’

The upcoming romance drama ‘Oh My Guard’ has released new stills featuring lead actress Hong Seung Hee. The series follows the unpredictable relationship between Uhm Tae Bong, an A-list actor played by Jung Yong Hwa of CNBLUE, and Oh Hae Ra, a mysterious woman played by Hong Seung Hee.

The plot centers on a psychological shift after an accident: the timid chaebol heiress Oh Hae Ra becomes convinced she is actually Cha Hong Doo, the spirited and combat-skilled female lead of a drama starring her favorite actor. Driven by this delusion, she becomes his secret bodyguard.

The production team noted that Hong Seung Hee portrays the contrast between these two personas through varying expressions, switching between a bold, confident energy and an innocent, cheerful demeanor. The drama is scheduled to premiere on October 24 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
