Xiaomi POCO F9 series launches with major battery and chip upgrades

Xiaomi has launched the POCO F9 series, featuring significant hardware upgrades focused on battery capacity and performance. The POCO F9 Ultra stands out with a massive 8,050 mAh battery and 100W wired charging, supported by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It also introduces a 200MP main camera to improve photographic quality.

The POCO F9 Pro variant utilizes a slightly modified Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset with a reduced GPU and features a 6,330 mAh battery. Both models aim to compete in the premium segment by offering high-end specifications, such as high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays, at more competitive price points than traditional flagship devices.
