Honor launches Magic V6 foldable smartphone with 6.6 Ah battery and AI tools

Honor announced the Magic V6, a premium fold‑able smartphone that combines a 7.95‑inch OLED inner display with a 6.52‑inch outer screen. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB storage and a 6,660 mAh silicon‑carbon battery that supports up to 80 W wired and 66 W wireless fast charging. The device is rated IP68 and IP69, features a Super Steel hinge tested for 500 000 folds and includes AI‑driven software such as Gemini search integration.

The phone is sold in several European markets. In Romania it debuted at an Art Calls event in Bucharest, priced at 11,499 lei with promotional discounts of up to 1,500 lei and a bundled Honor Watch 6. In France it is offered through A1 with a €200 discount and a free Watch 6 for early buyers. Finnish retailers list the Magic V6 at €2,299, while Czech outlets price it at 55,990 CZK. The accompanying Honor Watch 6 provides health tracking, over 120 sport modes and up to 35 days battery life, and is included in launch‑period bundles.

Honor positions the Magic V6 as a productivity‑focused device, highlighting its large internal screen for multitasking, AI tools for document handling, and seamless compatibility with Apple devices. The launch marks the company’s latest effort to advance thin‑profile, durable foldables in the high‑end market.
