Honor Magic 9 series to feature ARRI Cinema live-streaming

Honor has announced that its upcoming Magic 9 series smartphones will feature an ARRI Cinema live-streaming capability. This new function aims to elevate mobile videography by allowing users to create short, cinematic videos rather than standard live photos.

By long-pressing the camera shutter, users can record a three-second video with control over the start and end points, as well as camera movements like zooming. The feature utilizes ARRI imaging technologies to provide a 2.39:1 cinematic aspect ratio and access to an official ARRI Look Library, which includes 87 different cinematic looks across nine themes. The series will also support 4K resolution and a classic 16:9 aspect ratio.
