Honor Magic9 series features advanced vlog tools and infrared technology

Honor has released the Magic9 smartphone series, featuring specialized hardware and software capabilities for content creators and everyday utility. The series includes the Magic9, Magic9 Pro Max, and Magic9 Super Power Edition.

For vloggers, the Magic9 offers a 55-megapixel front camera with square framing support and AI-driven color tracking to maintain visual consistency between different lenses. The device also incorporates ARRI Look profiles and professional-grade audio recording capabilities to enhance video production quality.

Technologically, the Magic9 series features integrated infrared remote control functionality across all models. The Pro Max version utilizes a unique ‘360° infrared remote control enhancement’ for all-angle coverage, while the standard and Super Power Edition models house the infrared module within the camera module, allowing for easier remote operation while holding the phone vertically.

Following its launch, Honor reported significant sales growth, with activations increasing by over 70% compared to the previous generation after three days, and initial sales across Chinese e-commerce platforms growing by 194% year-on-year.
