Honor partners with ARRI for Magic9 series cinematic video filters

Honor has announced a partnership with German camera manufacturer ARRI to introduce ‘ARRI Look Cinematic Video’ filters for the upcoming Magic9 series. These one-tap presets allow users to emulate the color grading of various ARRI camera models directly within the smartphone interface, with additional options to adjust video color temperature.

The Magic9 Pro Max is expected to feature dual 200-megapixel cameras, utilizing a 1/1.28-inch main sensor and a 1/1.4-inch telephoto sensor. The device will also support a new 500mm teleconverter kit alongside the existing 200mm option. Honor is also reportedly developing a Super Edition model of the series, which may feature a high-capacity 11,000mAh battery.

Promotional materials for the new features feature global brand ambassador Xiao Zhan. The Magic9 series is scheduled for unveiling on September 28.
