HONOR X9e Pro undergoes durability and battery testing
HONOR has conducted extensive field tests for the HONOR X9e Pro, focusing on its durability, battery life, and AI-powered camera capabilities. In Kuwait, media representatives and influencers participated in a two-day interactive experience on Failaka Island to test the device under extreme conditions.
Testing included off-road adventures with ROX, where phones were mounted to vehicles to test dust resistance, and water-based challenges on jet skis to evaluate water resistance. The device holds IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, indicating protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets.
Technical specifications highlight an 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W SuperCharge and 27W wired reverse charging. The smartphone also features a 108MP OIS main camera and is designed to withstand drops of up to 3 metres onto smooth surfaces, earning an SGS 5 Stars Gold Label certification for drop resistance.
