Hoppy launches shared e-scooter service in Rijeka
The mobility service provider Hoppy, in collaboration with the City of Rijeka, has launched a shared electric scooter service. The service is designed to complement existing urban transport for short trips such as commuting to work or university, shopping, or connecting with other modes of transport.
To ensure urban order, the service utilizes 32 designated parking zones. Users are prohibited from leaving scooters on sidewalks, in front of building entrances, or in other public areas not intended for parking. To complete a ride, users must park within a designated zone and upload a photo of the correctly parked scooter via the Hoppy mobile application.
Promotional pricing is currently available, featuring free unlocking and a rate of 0.10 EUR per minute. Various subscription options are also offered, including a one-hour pass for 4.95 EUR, a 24-hour pass for 9.95 EUR, and a weekly subscription for 12.95 EUR.
