Hormozgan Province announces hybrid school schedules

Authorities in Hormozgan Province have announced new operational guidelines for schools following a province-wide remote learning day on Saturday, October 10 (18 Mehr). Starting Sunday, October 11 (19 Mehr), schools will operate under different models depending on the specific region to ensure student safety and educational continuity.

In the cities of Qeshm, Sirik, and Jask, schools will adopt a hybrid model of in-person and virtual learning. The specific ratio of in-person to remote days will be determined by individual school principals. However, schools in the rural areas of these three counties will maintain in-person instruction on an emergency basis.

In Bandar Abbas, all educational levels will follow a schedule consisting of three days of in-person instruction and two days of virtual learning per week. All other counties and regions within the province will return to full in-person instruction for all grade levels.

Ahmad Nafisi, the political, security, and social deputy of the Hormozgan Governor's Office, emphasized that school principals are responsible for planning and communicating these schedules to families. He also noted that the provincial Department of Education is tasked with conducting briefing sessions for administrators to ensure the new instructions are implemented effectively.
