Hornachos crime reconstruction begins for Francisca Cadenas case

Two brothers, Julián and Manuel González, have returned to the municipality of Hornachos to participate in a court-ordered reconstruction of the crime involving Francisca Cadenas. The investigation follows the discovery of Cadenas's skeletal remains buried under the tiled floor of the brothers' patio six months ago.

The brothers, who are currently in provisional prison in Morón de la Frontera, face charges of murder and crimes against liberty. The reconstruction process, overseen by the Court of Villafranca de los Barros, includes an inspection of the residence, mapping the itineraries used by the suspects, and recording the route taken by Cadenas's youngest son on the night of her disappearance in May 2017.

The case has caused significant local commotion in Badajoz, with the Civil Guard's Central Operating Unit and the Central Eye Inspection Team assisting in the ongoing investigation.
