The 18th edition of Fruit Attraction is currently taking place at IFEMA Madrid, setting records with 2,500 exhibiting companies from 78 countries and expecting over 121,000 professionals. Inaugurated by Spanish Agriculture Minister Luis Planas, the event highlights Spain's position as the EU's leading fruit and vegetable producer, with exports exceeding 22 billion euros in 2025.

Various regional and national entities are utilizing the platform to expand international reach. Argentine companies, supported by PromArgentina, are present to boost exports to Europe. Similarly, the Lazio region of Italy is participating through a collaborative effort between regional authorities and agricultural centers to promote local producers.

In Spain, regional delegations from Granada, Navarra, and the Port of Alicante are showcasing specific strengths, ranging from cooperative production models and logistical hub capabilities to specialized varieties. The fair also emphasizes innovation, featuring technological advancements in robotics, sustainable packaging, and the development of varieties adapted for mechanical harvesting to address labor shortages.
