Hoshino Resorts OMO launches new seasonal travel initiatives in Japan

Hoshino Resorts is introducing new themed stay programs at its OMO urban hotels to enhance regional tourism.

From December 26, 2026, to January 3, 2027, OMO hotels will offer the ‘OMO Homecoming Passport.’ This initiative targets travelers returning to their hometowns during the New Year period. The program includes free participation in ‘Local Rhythm Night’ events for visiting family members, dice games with prizes such as accommodation vouchers, and a guide featuring illustrations by artist Yamada Zenjido to promote the concept of ‘hotel homecoming’ as a comfortable alternative to staying in traditional family homes.

Additionally, OMO7 Yokohama will host a ‘Full Power Baseball Support Stay’ from October 23 to November 1, 2026. Designed to promote sports tourism, the event features real-time score updates on a rooftop scoreboard, beer discounts linked to game scores, and themed food items like Napolitan-flavored popcorn. The hotel will also provide baseball-themed photo items and specialized amenities for guests traveling with pets.
