Hot Wheels announces Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II for Indonesia 2026

Mattel has announced the Hot Wheels Convention Car 2026 for the Indonesian market, featuring a limited-edition Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (BNR34) diecast. The release is tied to the Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2026. To reflect local identity, the Indonesian edition will feature a unique blister packaging design incorporating traditional Batik motifs.

Collectors can view a 1:1 scale model of the vehicle during a pre-event at Bintaro Jaya Xchange Mall 2 from August 14–30, 2026. The diecast will be available through an exclusive Collectors Convention Dinner on October 8 or during the main IMX 2026 event.

Additionally, Hot Wheels is continuing its collaboration with local brand Turbo Bastard Wheel (TBW), owned by Gofar Hilman. This partnership will launch exclusive merchandise at IMX 2026, including specialized wheels, TurboDiscs, and various streetwear items such as apparel and accessories, merging diecast culture with automotive lifestyle and street culture.
