Hot Wheels brings exclusive '69 Ford Mustang models to Peru

Collectors in Peru will have the opportunity to acquire an exclusive scale model of the ’69 Ford Mustang Boss 302 as part of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour 2026. Approximately 500 units are expected to be available through a promotion at participating Plaza Vea stores.

To participate in the exchange, customers must make a minimum purchase of S/139 in participating Mattel vehicle products, including brands such as Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Cars, or Thomas & Friends. The promotion is scheduled for specific dates in late August and throughout September 2026 at various locations, including San Borja, San Martín de Porres, Santiago de Surco, and Ate.

The event series will also feature activities for families and collectors. The final date of the promotion will coincide with an exhibition of finalist vehicles from the global Hot Wheels Legends Tour in Peru, during which the Peruvian representative for the Hot Wheels Legends LATAM final will be announced.
