Hot Wheels Infinite Rush launches as open-world racer

Milestone has released Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, a significant departure from the studio’s previous Hot Wheels Unleashed titles. Moving away from traditional track-based racing, the new title introduces an open-world experience featuring four distinct islands for players to explore freely.

Players can collect over 150 vehicles, categorized into four types: Versatiles, Titans, Drifters, and Speeders. The gameplay focuses on exploration and fun rather than strict realism, allowing players to smash through obstacles and navigate massive plastic environments. Each island is governed by a Rush Master that players must defeat to claim specific cars and titles.

The game includes a Track Builder feature, allowing players to create custom tracks using the environment, and offers various modes including single-player, online, and four-player split-screen. The title has launched worldwide and is available on platforms including the Nintendo Switch 2.
